My thoughts as well - just didn't want to state it. So just because you can get a 22" lcd tv for around £150, is it a bargain??
Add a 3 year warranty and it's almost £200 - £200 for a 22" Bush.
We all have different thoughts, only yourself can decide if it's your bargain. I wouldn't touch them though.
** Richer Sounds have this 20" Samsung for around £130 or £143 with a 5 year guarantee - might be worth a look.

........or this 19" one for around £100 or £110 with a 5 year guarantee.

Could say the same about my Goodmans CRT television.... had it 9 years and still going strong......
Cheaper doesn't always mean worse.... its like people who bang on about Fiats being crap because a friend of a friend of a friend owned one 100 years ago and it broke down once....
The constant brand snobbery amazes me... 10 / 20 years ago maybe but today they are probably all made in the same factory by the same low paid chinese workers with virtually the same components.
Don't get me wrong, if I wanted a TV and the same size Sony was only £20 more than a Bush then i'd get Sony every time.... but I wouldn't pay well over the odds for one brand over a lesser brand.0 -
I got one of these for the 2nd bedroom, the picture quality is excellent, and it's FULL HD (1920x1080). Sound is a bit tinny but these small screens always are.

Price seems to be hovering around £180, and Richer Sounds do it for £190 if you want to go to a shop to buy one.Why pay more than you have to?0 -
We recently bought a 15" Tesco's own make Technika for the bedroom and it's fine. Has Freeview and DVD for £130. The 19" is £155 I think.0

I'm looking for a decent 26" for my MIL - but there are usually much better deals on 32" models so I will have to try and twist her arm.
It sucks that 26" TVs are often more than 32s...
Wanted a 19-26" combi for our bedroom, ended up getting this one:

(although paid less at Richer Sounds).
Having looked at all the Technica, Warfedale, Acoustic Solutions etc etc cheapy sets around (I really did go *everywhere* looking), in the end I spent pretty much double my budget...but totally worth it.
Looks *much* nicer than the budget makes, nowhere near as tacky...has a much better picture. Inbuilt multi-region DVD player...nice interface...lots of "handy" bedroom type features (which to be fair are probably standard these days...) - sleep timer, wakeup timer etc.
ETA: forgot to mention the sound...*much* better than cheaper alternatives.0
