Anyone Got Forces Partner Posted Away???

Evening all.
Just wondering if anyone else has got/having/had their partner posted away?
Mine is going to Germany for 2 or so years next month.
He already did iraq last year. He's in RAF.
Won't be going with him but Germany will now be my second home!
Thanks to all the people who advised on cheap airlines by the way!!
Must admit I found it hard last time and am not looking foward to doing it again.
In the area he works the people don't get posted out too much of the UK but low and behold he has!!
I guess I'll just be coming on here and having my own little count down to it all.
Anyone who's feeling lonely too or who has tips to share please pop along :T
I found letter writing went down VVVery well before and the net was ok when is was up and running, I guess Germany is a tad better than Irag though lol
