  • I was just thinking the same thing... At least five; North East, North West, Midlands, South East (and London) and South West?

There's few enough threads on the 'England' board, if you split it up you'd end up with half a dozen inactive boards.

One advantage of one big board is that you might see a question about an area you don't live in, but either know or used to live in. I sometimes add to threads on that basis.
savvi sue is spot on ive worked in most parts and have gathered decent knowledge from most areas so keep it as it is imo its never really busy here on this place anyhow so if i see a question relating to say Cheddar i will see if i know the answer (used to holiday there often ) but i wouldnt visit the somerset board sub thread . Just a thought

Maybe someone could do an index with all the threads for each area linked together, this could be then made into a sticky, for people whpo just want to look in their area.

As the local MS board is split into England as a whole, why can't it then be split down into regions? I would like to see specific regional boards - London, North West, South East and so on.

We are much bigger as a whole than NI!

    Anybody agree?
