Hi,
I am trying to load a cd onto my computer (Pink/Funhouse) without success!
I put into draw, it opens to show a video, then I cannot go any further
Normally I get the media player pop up with options (no where to be seen) Can anyone please help?

Try closing the video, then go to My Computer and right-click on the CD/DVD drive. It should offer you the option to "Explore" the CD. Select as many of the audio tracks as you want to listen to and right-click, choose "Play".
That's in XP - probably all called different things and in different places if you have Vista, though.0 -
Thanks for your suggestion Fwor, unfortunately whatever I do it just keeps coming back to the video of Pink (only the one song) no sign of any of the other songs
I'm begining to think I have a dud cd  and I bought it at 'duty free'.

you seem to have had quite a few cd/dvd problems today? think your drive needs cleaning or is going faulty?0

Read the fine print on the back of the cd's case. Pay particular attention to anything relating to 'Drm - digital rights management', as it might be that they've set a few flags on the disk itself so it doesn't play in computer drives. If possible, try it in a stereo or whatever else you have that plays cds ie: the one in the car etc? If it plays normally but not in the computer, then have you got any Games installed or have you installed any since the lasttime you played any cd's in the drive? As if so, it maybe that you've got something like SecurRom installed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SecuROM there are other protection schemes, not just securom so it maybe one of those, you just have to find out which one it was\is then find the equivalent removal tool.
Perhaps it was even the Pink cd\dvd you're trying to play, as they install these 'protections' too.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

No, you should have started a new thread for yourself.

Get yourself AVG AntiVirus Free Edition or have a go with Avast Home Edition - these are probably the best freebies available and most widely used.

Carmen,
You should open up Windows Media Player first, then insert your CD. If the video comes up just close it, WMP should then play your CD, and the list of tracks will be in the Now Playing section0
