You can go to netmums ( it wont let me type in www. and com at the beginning and end of netmums) just registar (its free) and you can get adult tickets £17 and child tickets £12. i have just booked mine. have fun

This is quite a good offer as it works out cheaper than BOGOF for tickets. the url is: http://www.netmums.com/places/Great_Offers_at_Alton_Towers.1046/ but it seems you have to call to get tickets

"To book your tickets, please telephone 0870 999 0071 and quote 'Netmums'
Tickets must be pre-booked and paid for 48hrs in advance."

Do you have to pick a day to go when you book using netmums code or is it an open ticket,

I can't say for definite as I don't need to book any tickets but nearly always with kind of offer, you have to choose the date of your visit.

Any deals/tips for Alton Towers?

What we want to do: 2 adult and 2 children (both 10yo and tall enough for all rides), visiting on 31 July. Kids and 1 adult want to do all the big rides.

I know or am expecting queues but has anyone any ideas how to beat/minimise queues. I've seen the fast pass deals which you pay extra - has anyone done this? If so are they worth it? Do you walk straight on or are you just in a smaller queue?

Thanks
i think i have already told you how to get cheap tickets, if not i will tell you again sign up to netmums, its free, adults £17 and under 11 £12. i have booked mine and have the tickets so i am already to go next weekend.

5. Use express parking, Yes the parking charge (£5) is a rip off but for £10 the express parking is worth it. You get to park closer to the park and avoid the monorail queues and traveling time both in to and out of the park. You also avoid queues driving out of the car parks.

Express parking gone up to £15 now! We went two weeks apart and they have put it up by a fiver!

Thanks. Couple of Q's

Do you pay £5 to park in normal car park anyway?

If you don't get express car park, do you have to queue for a shuttle or monorail something to get to the entrance? Or is it just a longer walk to the entrance?

Anyone know if netmums tickets get you in the hour early (9.00am)?

As long as you have advance tickets you get in an hour early I think, I'm a pass holder so don't know for sure. In the normal carparks (£5 parking) You do need to use the monorail - you could walk it and I did once, but the monorail is quicker.

As you have already booked your tickets can Netmums you answer a couple of questions.

Did you have to state what date you are going when booking the tickets?

Do you get in early with these tickets?

Thanks.

I went to Alton Towers a few weeks ago for the weekend and was shocked to find that they charge £5 per day to park your car plus the £36 entrance fee!!!!!
I will not be going back anytime soon. The place is getting tatty, the staff are rude and there are never enough monorails to get in and out of the park (queing for 40 mins).
Save your money and go the Florida.
