Buying a house next door to one converted into flats - would you do it?

You may find that a whole house is noisier (depending on who lives there) than one that is split into flats. The flats may have a single professional who works away alot or stays round a partners compared to a house with loads of noisy teenagers in...0

Thanks again for your comments. The house is joined room to room with this one, but stairwell to stairwell with the one to the otherside.
We have been going through worst case scenario's and best case scenario's, and can see the situation from both points of view posted above. I guess we will wait until we have had our 2nd viewing and meet the current owners (they were out for our first viewing) to ask these kind of questions before making any decisions.

Well we tried to go and see it again to help make up our minds and it is now under offer so no more viewings, at least it made that decision for us! Onto the next one now!0
