Hi all,
I know that they were doing these at the end of 2009 but I haven't been able to find the post on here.
For this offer for people on benefits or for those over 70 you can apply for both a Standby saver and/or a real time electricity monitor.
The code is EF3
Go to:
https://www.britishgas.co.uk/productoffers
They ask for date of birth and/or benefits number.
These are very useful for truly eligible people.
You don't need to be a British Gas customer, anyone can apply if they are eligible.

Hello, just done a search and although there was something about it in the Gas and Electricity forum, I could not find anything on the freebies forum.
I received this in an email from a friend this morning, for a FREE energy saving monitor and or standby saver. Enter the offer code "EF3" and submit your details. Providing you are over 70, on certain benefits or in receipt of WTC, you should be eligible. It asks for your NI number, so if you don't qualify - don't apply.

After filling it in, it says it will be sent within 28 days.
