Section 75

Are there any situations that section 75 doesnt apply?
the thing is my husband paid for something over the phone with his natwest credit card (after checking with them before to see if he would be covered if anything happened) and they have since disapperared (gone bankrupt) without us getting what he was hoping for and when talking to natwest they were NO HELP whatso ever saying we need to get in contact with a solicitor to sort it out and get our money back.....but we cant get in contact with the people at all they have gone...so where can we turn???? anyone know what we can do??????

No, you do not go to see a solicitor! You ring Natwest and tell them (note the word tell, not ask) you wish to make a section 75 claim for non receipt of goods. Full details can be found here:
