Sterilizing fluid question-Help please!

Could any one help and advise me? A couple of days ago my anti-bacterial kitchen spray (the clear stuff) ran out, and like a good little money-saver I refilled it with half a diluted own brand baby steralizing tablet I had left over from the baby years. Then I remembered that the box says discard after 24 hrs, so my question is can I treat the stuff as if it were actually anti-bac spray- ie it lasts for weeks, or is it already 'past it's use by date'. ? I am wondering if I am now just spraying my surfaces with an inert mixture or worse 3 day old water?Any advice very much appreciated!

It will probably smell after a couple of days - I use them to sterilise my nebuliser masks and they have a bit of a whiff after leaving overnight.
If you have a poundland near to you they have Stardrops hard surface cleaner, Anti bac and bathroom cleaner in spray bottles xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate is a stable sterilising chemical, so a solurion of it should be fine for a few days in your spray bottle
