Ebuyer Sale started

  • Well I *AGREE* with the idea of a separate topic - can't you see where this is going?

This is not supposed to be a discussion of whether ebuyer is crap or not - it's supposed to be a discussion of their sale. Delivery is slow and expensive but otherwise I've found them good. Always compare prices to aria, scan etc. before buying.

To get back on topic - I regularly scan through their prices and I've checked their sale and they are slightly reduced - prices seem to be down by a couple of quid. This is quite understandable because there are small margins in the components business. Great if your needing to buy something and have been holding out - but I wouldn't go stocking up if I wasn't thinking of buying something already.

Always compare prices to other companies

If you check the numerous web sites for feedback you will see how bad Ebuyers customer support is. I knwo they are bad I use to think it wouldnt hapen to me, but it has. They said in the automatic email for a enote I raised on Monday

    Dear XXXXX,

Many thanks for using our website for your customer service query. We are currently replying to all
queries within 2 business days, please bear with us whilst we process your query.

    Sincerely,
    Ebuyer Support

But Look heres the proof they dont answer enotes. You cant contact them by phone (that was bad enough when that worked) I have ordered quite afew items (all in stock) on the 12th, but many of these items havent even been authorised.

These are muppets. You woudl think that they would make the extra effect at this time of year, given that many people order for Christmas, it aint that I have ordered at the last minute, okay I realise things aint going to be fast at this time of year.

I'm a regular ebuyer customer, because usually they're the cheapest around, and I've got no complaints about the company...
No reliance should be placed on the above.

    same here, no complaints

if you pay bottom dollar for a service you have to take the rough with the smooth!, and i aint had no rough from them yet, the one issue i had was solved in a couple of days and they give me free post on my next order for goodwill!
    money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Ye I have been using Ebuyer for a very long time (years and years) and I have to admit I have mixed feelings about them.

Their prices are fantastic - usually the best around. The delivery can be patchy at times - with normal delivery taking 4 days to get to you.

If you use Ebuyer a lot you WILL be asking for at least a few RMAs! I have had 18 RMAs in just over 2 years and 61 orders. OK that is a terrible ratio of 3:1 things going back and I have just surprised myself lol - but remember some of that stuff I returned because I no longer wanted it etc....

I still use Ebuyer so they must be doing something right!!! ::)
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)
  • Used ebuyer for about 2 years about £2000 worth of stuff ordered, never had to RMA, Only thing that lets ebuyer down is citylink, dont know about you lot but we are lucky to get anything by 5pm, most of the time its 2-3 days late on a next day service, citylink HQ always say the driver ran out of time >:(
  • ooooppps! sorry, I've stirred it up AGAIN ;)

Couldn't give a monkeys about these cowboys. Failed to delivery goods. I ain't even asking for money back, as you waste you time talking and lack of communication with these cowboys. Contacted my credit card company and asking for a charge back.
