Budget airlines have now started a policy of charging £15 each way for golf clubs. Does anyone know of any way of reducing this charge or cutting it out completely.
Many thanks.

You could hire some on arrival?
Seriously though, the low-costs charge for anything and everything so the charge will be impossible to avoid.

nope, we had to pay it for snowboards even though we only had snowboards and hand luggage, couldn't even put them through as our cases.0

Find a container big enough to take two sets? They don't care too much about size, weight or contents. We took a bag with 3 sets of skis and boots with no problem (apart from trying to carry it of course!)What goes around - comes around0
