Eurotunnel, Dogs and Tesco

Has anyone used their Tesco Clubcard to book travel on Eurotunnel, and if so, can it be used to purchase the full price of the ticket including dogs.
I was just looking at booking with them, and was a weeny bit confused regarding the dog bit

If I have to pay a seperate amount because of travelling with dogs, i will use the clubcard towards accomodation, and use the much cheaper ferry companies.

Just thought Eurotunnel would be nice for a change, as the journey on the other side will be quite long.

You have to pay the dog supplement in cash, because it goes to their version of DEFRA who do the checks at the terminal, and not to Eurotunnel themselves.

We used to take our dog over to France a lot with Eurotunnel, and it was so easy. I wouldn't bother with the ferry again. The animal check centre is really organised, we rarely had to wait long. There are plenty of places you can exercise your dog. You stay with them for the journey, which is short anyway, and you don't have car alarms going off all over the place like you do on the ferry.

It's well worth the extra money.
