I have the nc-10,upgraded the memory to 2gb,now it flies!!!Lovely machine,XP on it,I can highly reccomend it,just look at reviews all over the net,it's highly rated, can't go wrong.
You can buy it here in 3 installments to make it easy, that's how I got mine:

Was it really slow with only the 1GB?0 -
The NB200 has superior battery life, a nicer keyboard and larger touchpad. On the downside, it costs a little more than the NC10 and its moderately good looks are marred by the very thing that puts it head and shoulders above most of the competition - its humungous battery.Which would you choose?
If that last bit doesn't bother you, the Toshiba NB200 is probably the better choice at present. Probably.0 -
I have the NC10 - bought it for travelling and now hardly ever use my 'proper' laptop for surfing the net and e-mailing, even at home.
I haven't upgraded the memory yet but it is still a fair bit faster than my other laptop - however this is because all my greedy software is on the other one.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
I'm buying the 2GB NC10 to replace my 5yr old Compaq NC4010 for traveling.0

NC10 - bought mine in April, it's brill. Use it all the time. Good battery life. Excellent resolution. Very light for portability. I'd give it the thumbs up.0

If the Toshiba is more expensive with a better battery / touchpad, doesn't that make it a fairer comparison with the N110?-TangleFoot- wrote: »Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -
Not really, but the extra 1gb does make a difference, and it boots up really fast, about 45 seconds!!!And with the extra gig you can multi task, don't miss out,it's a nice netbook, and with good reception on wi-fi too.:TAnd I get 5 to 6 hours battery life with constant use,but you have to charge the battery, run it down, then charge again to get the best out of it.Was it really slow with only the 1GB?Kawasaki z750 Rider!0 -

The Samsung is by far the better one. Have you also seen the newer NC110? Big labs test in this months PC Pro, unsurprisingly the Samsung wins again.0
