I'm repeatedly getting a update from Zone Alarm Service Agent in the form of a Pop up box, and it asks to update now or to remind me later. I click update now and it goes away, only to reappear the following day. What do i need to do please, i have never had any probs with Zone Alarm (free one), and trust it completely.

Yes, i get the regular updates all the time, and these are no problem. But this update is different to the regular ones.i click to let it update but then nothing happens, and then later on the pop up box will reapear in the bottom menu bar, asking me if i want to update all over again.....ahhhhhhhhh...Not ashamed to say ABBA are Great :j0

Try reinstalling Zone Alarm either that or get Kerio.0

click overview>prefrences, at the bottom, where it says "contact with zonelabs", untick the box which says "alert me with a popup before i make contact"
--OR--
do manual updates... click overview>prefrences... on the left of where it says "update", click manually and click "update" every few days or every week, whenever you want to check for updates0 -

This is correct.
Plus there is slight issue when the auto update feature in that it's so secuire that it stops it's self from working correctly. The updates are normally available every 3/4 months. I normally wait for the reminder and then I'll go and get the update myself anyway. Once running the update you get the option to do a upgrade that then keeps your current settings rather than you having to set the secuirty/firewall up again.Regards,
Dave
