Cheapest isn't always best for pads, if you buy decent quality they can last up to 10 years. I buy my pads from lunawolf.co.uk, did try some cheaper pads from etsy, but they don't popper up as easily, and they're not as comfortable or hard wearing. Then again, it may just have been that particular seller!

I made my own many years ago from a couple of old candy striped flannelette sheets. They were very comfortable to wear. I just folder them over and over and sewed each end up. I was almost sorry when I got to the menopause, got a mirena coil and no longer needed them!

The Imse Vimse ones are good value because you get 3 in a pack, and they work really well too.

Hi, I am just about to buy my first washable pads. I found a wondeful site called earthwisegirls.co.uk The have a large selection of pads and panti liners.
The cheapest seems to be the Imse brand. They come in packs of three and a large flexi pack. Packs are priced from £8.95 for 3 panti liners up to £23.50 for an 11 piece sanitary pad kit.
