Presumably you have the item listed as UK only? If you want to sell it internationally to this buyer you could edit the listing to increase the price to cover postage and make it available to 'domestic and within Europe' destinations. Just email the buyer first to tell them this is what you have to do as its a heavy item to post and they may still be willing to buy? Don't be tempted to sell it off Amazon though.0

How heavy is the book exactly?
In order for it to cost £10.00 postage using airmail/printed papers to Europe I estimate it weighs 1.66kg
In order to send that item in the uk it would cost £5.85 first class or £4.41 standard parcels (no second class option available)
Amazon have set delivery charges for marketplace sellers.
For books this is £2.75 in the uk and £3.94 to Europe.
(amazon will take fees from this amount before passing remainder onto the seller)
Hopefully you've already priced the book accordingly to take account of the shortfall you'll receive in postage from a uk buyer. Remember to include this amount before establishing how much extra you need to raise the price of the book to post to Europe.
I wouldn't bother about tracking on amazon sales - if a buyer claims non receipt and files an a-z claim the buyer will be refunded whatever proof the seller has.
Legal action against a foreign buyer isn't usually a viable option either.
In reality, you don't get as many scammers on amazon compared to say ebay as amazon place a limit on how many a-z claims a person can make."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
