When your ex has the children?!!

I dont think there is a lot you can do. I had the same problme with my ex's ex girlfriend she was mentally unstable and was prone to throwing tantrums and being violent towards my ex she smashed a wine bottle over his head one night. Unfortunately she was sweetness and light around the kids so i never had a leg to stand on as far as banning her from contact with them. Thankfully he saw the light before she could change and dumped her. To be honest i was never really worried about her attacking the kids she was always really good with them my worry was that he would wind her up and the kids would witness her rages and try to protect their dad thus getting caught in the cross fire. After a sensible grown up talk he did agree she would never be left alone with them and the grandparents would always be around when they were together. So i suppose your best route would be to talk to the father as others have said.

PS karma is a great thing the ex was a massive bully and he finally met his match with that one to say he has changed is an understatement i cant help feeling a little smug :-)
