Buying a house which has a subsidence history

I am a first time buyer and saw a house which is around 15% cheaper than the market. I placed an offer but i am bit worry about it has been subsidence.

There were a messaive tree at the garden in front of the house (belong to council) because the tree are massive, it suck the moisture on the soil and cause the subsidence.

now the tree has been cut off and the house has been repaired.

Will anyone buy house like that? or they going to walk away from it?

Will I able to sell the house easily when I decide want to sell it.

I dont want to make a mistake to buy the house and i cannot sell it at the end.

    If the house has been properly underpinned, it may now be better than when originally built. But you'll either have to have a very thorough and costly survey done (advisable anyway) or see if vendor has documentary evidence of the subsidence issues and subsequent remedial works.

    What does ring slight alarm bells though is the price being 15% below market value. But this may be due to other factors.

    If you have any real doubts, walk away, plenty of houses out there.
