Chippenham Job Centre - Email ?

Does anyone have an email address for Chippenham Job Centre ?
I need to contact them to see whether they have LOST my ESA50 questionaire sent 4 weeks ago - nothing heard since
My speech is not up to a phone call - and my local DEA advises that I contact them - HOW ?

  • Not sure, but if you have a disability that precludes you from communicating by telephone, I am sure the DDA must raise issues about access to services. I would send in a copy of the ESA50 to them, with a note saying you cannot speak on the telephone and wanted to ensure that they had a copy as you still hadn't heard anything (but over a month appears to be quite normal). See if you can get an advice worker from the relevant charity for your condition to give you a hand as well.

    Good luck.

Still no sucess in contacting Chippenham re my ESA50 !!

I asked my DEA (locally) - who was UNABLE to help (why ?)
She told me that Chippenham had been asked to email me over a week ago - still nothing - so I used the Wiltshire County Council website to try to obtain an email for the DEA - I received the surprising response...

"Chippenham JCP is NOT on email - But in a month - the link on JCP website will allow me to email my local JCP"

I then received a letter through the post - from Chippenham - telling me that Chippenham had tried to email me and failed "OH YES !!" and to use the link on the JCP website (contact us) - which, I have tried already - this only sends messages to a "central office" rather than individual local offices (despite what the letter claims) - Leaving me with no way of contacting Chippenham by email
I despair of them - why won't they provide me with an electronic means of contacting them ?
Surely - with equal opps etc - by law - they MUST ?
By the way - I did not keep a copy of the ESA50 - too many pages to do that....

E-mail is an easy way to attack an organisation. I'm not suprised that offices dont use e-mail.

With that attitude - we may as well all go back to manuscripts and quill pens !!
Besides - do you honestly believe that a JCP office does NOT have email ?

I know they have 'internal' e-mail but I am more than happy to accept that they dont have 'external' e-mail.
