It doesn't really matter they will be to the same standard. Unless you want to buy British only which is very commendable. In which case technic tyre is one UK company. http://www.technictyre.co.uk They are a cheap retread company (just as safe to the same standards as a new tyres) you can phone them for suppliers in your area.

I had 2 Ambassador tyres fitted to my Rover by ATS a few months back. They were doing buy 1 get 1 free. They are perfectly fine. A real bargain. They grip well and work fine in dry and wet weather. Dont expect them to be as good as a Michelin or a Good Year, but for a budget tyre, they are an excellent buy.If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

Always check the price of good make tyres though, they might not be as expensive as you think. Also be aware that budget tyres are often cheaper because there is less rubber on them.0

I have been driving for 27 years and have just had a set of 4 ambassodors fitted to my company car and can honestly say they are the WORST tyres I have ever had. They may be fine in the dry but they are terrible in the wet.
You dont have to take my word for it, our whole fleet has them on and not one person has a good word to say about them in the wet0 -
Barum is well recommended as a good budget tyre - they are made by continental. National Tyres have these on BOGOF.
