Hi All,I have line rental with BT and my calls are bundled with AOL silver BB.I get free evenings and weekend calls, but the daytime calls are pretty expensive.I've been looking at using the 18185/18866 type providers but I am somewhat confused as to how it all works! Can anyone advise me on the best way to reduce these call prices, using my existing set-up? Frankly I dont use to phone much during the day -but every little helps.Thanks.

Just sign up with www.18185.co.uk i recommend doing it by dd. Then to place a call via them just dial 18185 and the full dialling code of the number you wish to reach. For peak rate calls to 01/02/03 numbers your be charged just 5p. Calls to mobiles are also cheaper, and possibly other calls you make. Compare 18185 tariff with AOl.0

Just checked the 18185 web site and the calls are cheaper but I will still be charged by AOL, wont I? There is a 5p connection charge with them plus an 8p charge from AOL. I know i'm simple but I'm really confused now.0

Just checked the FAQ's and they confirm that AOL will not charge me for dialling 18185.Thanks.0

No you want be charged anything by AOL or BT,if you use the 18185 code.
Dialling the short code 18185 first before you insert the number will place the call over the 18185 network and 18185 will charge you.
Yes you pay 5p connection to 18185, but if your calling an 01/02/03 number your notice their is no further charge.0
