Leather shoes from Schuh (worn)

I bought some leather boots from Schuh 2-3 months ago, almost £100.
The problem is they've 'worn' differently. The left shoe has worn totally different to the right as if they're from 2 different cows so the shoes no longer look like a pair.
One shoe has cracked, distress very nicely, the other hasn't.
Is it right to take them back and ask for a refund?

Yes. Take them back and say "these shoes are from different cows. I want my money back." Also, get someone to video the shop assistant as you do it because I would pay good money to see their reaction.0
