Your book should tell you if it pulls out. Most do, but are "stopped" to make sure they don't pull out by accident - so you have to tug quite firmly to get past the stop.
If you can't find your book, let us know what make and model you have and someone may be able to help you out.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hi I have to open the drawer and press down on a central tab, the drawer then comes out (Bosch), it does get very yucky in there. I have an old bottle brush and I scrub behind the drawer then replace the clean drawer and do a very hot wash (no clothes) with some soda crystals in the powder bit and vinegar in the conditioner part.MFW 1/5/08 £45,789 Cleared mortgage 1/02/13

What a good idea tinkerbelluk, I had wiped the inside of the drawer and taken out the conditioner container to wash only Saturday - did not occur to me I could take out the drawer!
I have just gone and done it - what a difference! It was a mess inside and underneath, absolutely cacked.
I have a hotpoint first edition 1200, and all I had to do was pull it out, so simple and now it's lovely and clean, oh, and my hands are so soft ha!
Thanks for that0
