Envirofone - How Long?

I sent a phone to Envirophone - it would have gone with the first post this Monday.

So far they say they are still 'awaiting receipt'. I'm just wondering how long it normally takes them to receive them?

I was having a bit of a day when I posted it on Sunday, and then realised I should probably have sent it recorded! I didn't though - so no way of tracing.

Did they receive your phone in the end? I sent mine off about a week ago and it's still awaiting receipt. I got proof of postage but didn't bother sending it recorded delivery.

I sent my phone to Envirofone and they claimed never to have received it. And had the gall to say that I shouldn't have used the freepost envelope they sent me!!! So I have no recourse to Royal Mail as I have no proof of postage. Strongly advise against using Envirofone....

you can get proof of postage on a freepost address
just take the item to a post office

Hi there

I sent my old phone to Envirophone on Tuesday morning and got an email today with the amount they are willing to pay for it. I did use special delivery, which cost an extra £5 but at least then it was insured. Not sure if the SD is quicker than the freepost. Now just need to wait and see how long it takes for the cheque to arrive.
