This tread is only 62 hours old and we are now on page 34. A heck of alot of duplicate information and it takes ages to read through it. Unlike some people I do read through each page to see what has been posted because it does seem quicker to to go through the thread than spend ages clicking through PB to look for the points.

I agree with the others that have posted requests to read through the posts before posting another repeat comp link or another repeat click link. And if the comp has already been posted, please delete your thread. It would make it a lot easyier for people to find the latest info.

I would like to say a big thank you for all the people who post the comp links!

On another subject I cannot believe people are moaning about the 5 point Easter Egg for yesterday and the 20 point link for today. Points are points however many they are. Be thankful, my daughter has had no Easter Egg points, even though I had them my wife has had them and so has my son. We have 4 computers in the house and it makes no difference which on she logs on to she cannot get and Egg points. Even when I have logged on the computer 2 minutes earlier and obtained my Easter egg points.

This morning I had 651 points before I clicked anything. Total is now 711. So it looks like I had 20 points for egg even tho' it says 10.
I always check my points total every day now.

I agree with your sentiment, but you don't have to be on page 34.

As I posted earlier (!), you can change the number of posts that appear on each page by clicking on "User CP" (just under " Pigsback - Free Gifts for Clicks" at the top of this page), then click on "Edit options" on the left, scroll down to "Thread Display Options", and play to your heart's content.

I am on page 9 of this thread. HTH.

I'm new to MSE and I'd just like to say, I allways read through all the new posts everyday and I allways thank the first people to post links and answers. It is a bit frustrating that there are a lot of repeated posts but they do get thanked so they must be helping someone? I did once post the link to the Easter Egg and I thought I was helping, not barging in, but as several people after me repeated the link (not all of them newbies if I remember correctly) I haven't bothered since. I thought this was a public forum but as usual some people who've been on here for awhile seem to think I'm intruding, they should remember they where newbies too once.

I have just had to trawl through 7 pages of pointless arguing about reposts to find todays quiz answers, The arguing is far more annoying than the odd repost of a quiz which is what the majority of people read this thread to find! and to add a minor point! If this bickering seased people would be able to see if a post has already been posted more easily and be less inclined to repost in the first place

Yes and I also see that I'm being a hypocrite by adding to this argument and for that I apologise in advance!

Just a suggestion to people who are 'bothered' by duplicate postings and bickering...

My procedure for checking for new quizzes etc is to scroll through the pages looking for hyperlinks which stand out in blue (generally go purple if you've clicked on them before but I have a tendancy to click them anyway!). Sorry if I offend anyone but if a post does not have one on then 'it dont get read'.

I am also automatically logged into pigsback from this computer so even if I have done the quiz before, all I have wasted is one click of the finger.
