Where have the buyer protection things gone?!

This new layout is really confusing, it used to say standard buyer protection etc etc and i cant find it on any listings now

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9709912052&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

It doesnt say anywhere what kind of protection is offered :/

The person who is selling that item doesn't have buyer protection.

Look here for when buyer protection applies
    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/confidence/sppp-eligibility.html
For a start this item is under the £15 minimum anyway.

So that item would qualify for the eBay standard Purchase Protection but NOT PayPal Buyer Protection.

Doesn't the seller have to have a minimum of 50+ feedbacks before being able to display the buyer protection paypal tick thingy?

The seller also has to tick the 'i accept paypal' box to get the paypal buyer protection logo up. However, this also activates the "ram paypal down the buyer's throat" feature of Ebay which is not what you want when you offer several payment methods and want to use Paypal as the method of last resort. :D

Thought others might like to see this. My other half claimed for an item £87 in value, that was not delivered. Paypal processed a refund minus a £15 processing fee!!!!

Neither of us have seen this before. How can they justify this? Time to ditch E-bay and Paypal methinks.

Thank you for contacting PayPal with your concern.

If you file a Buyer Complaint claim for an eBay transaction that is
eligible for either the PayPal Buyer Protection Policy or the eBay
Standard Purchase Protection Programme, PayPal will automatically
process your claim under these programmes. You do not need to file a
    separate claim with eBay.

eBay's Standard Purchase Protection Programme reimburses buyers for
eligible transactions where an item was purchased on eBay and either not
received or was received but significantly not as described. You'll be
reimbursed up to a maximum of 120 GBP (less 15.00 GBP to cover
processing costs). Multiple Item Auctions (Dutch Auctions) are covered
    as a single transaction.

To be eligible for eBay's Standard Purchase Protection:

The final winning bid price of the item is over 15.00 GBP Multiple
listings cannot be combined into one claim to become eligible, even if
    purchased from the same seller
You are a winning bidder or fixed price buyer of an item listed on the
    eBay site
Both you and the seller had a feedback rating of zero or above at the
    close of the listing
Your item is legal and in accordance with eBay's Listing Policies and
    User Agreement
Payment was sent to the seller in good faith and proof of payment can be
    documented
You have not exceeded the three claims per six month limit
