Hello
Last year or the year before i asked Halifax for all the bank charges they owed me. To my surprise they sent all my statements. I have noticed quite a few charges, what i would like to know is how far can i go back. I understand everything is on hold till the lawyers battle it out.

Hello Natwestsupermember
Received a letter on Saturday from Halifax telling me that they are satisfied that the fees were correctly applied. However it goes on to say that because the banks are in legal proceedings they have stored details of my complaint and when the legal battle is over they will review my complaint again. Is this the standard letter that everyone is getting now and do i just sit back and wait to see what happens.

Hi Paul
Just chipping in here - have had a pretty much similar letter from Natwest, I think that most of the banks are saying the same thing...Pounds, shillings and pence; I caught a dirty wench, I gave a cough, her leg fell off, pounds shillings and pence :rotfl:
