Finding Repossessed Houses??

Options
I have been browsing the web for information about buying repossessed houses. All of the sites that claim to know anything want paying for lists etc.

Is there any way I can find out without paying? It seems a bit of a rip off - I don't really want to pay to see lists of houses as I am only browsing at the moment!

Thanks

why do you want a repossed house? speaking from experience they can be a lot of trouble!!
Me and my boyfriend found ours through an estate agent, most estate agents have links to the banks and the banks commission them to sell them on there behalf.
We saw about 3-4 repossed houses during our search and they were all with estate agents, just listed like normal houses.
Look on right move for sold without an onward chain, in the photos look for an a4 sheet of paper in the window, and tape round the applicances!

Thanks - I heard that they were cheaper, so thought it'd be worth a look!
