In my opinion the day that the Welsh Cobs are in the arena. But every day is an excellent day out0

General Advice - Get there early as the roads around Builth get very busy.0

Unless you are a member, there are very few places to sit and eat. You might want to take a pic-nic. Comfortable shoes are essential. It's a good day out , though.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

I'd thought about doing that purely in light of how expensive food can be on the eisteddfod maes. never realised that there were exclusive eateries in llanelwedd - i've learnt something today!know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Yes.
It's always better to peel an orange first before trying to eat it.

If your in to horses Wednesday is THE day to go, which also is the busiest day. If you are only going one day get there early and leave late to get maximum out of it. Best place to get lunch is Marks and spencers, they do sandwiches at normal prices. We get them then position ourselves to watch the ring for the afternoon. If into motorbikes then the kangaroo kid is amazing. The lancaster bombers are doing a flypast on the Tuesday 2.30.
I'm lucky we only live 8 miles away so go every day..... nothing else happens around here!Visit beautiful Mid Wales:j0
