My house is having its survey done tomorrow. How long should I wait before contacting my estate agent to find out if my buyers are happy to proceed?

If it's a homebuyer's or structrual survey it will all depend on how quickly the surveyor gets the report typed up. I once waited over 3 weeks & ended up complaining to my Lender about their choice of surveyor.
I think you need to give it at least a week, but I think if there is anything negative you will soon hear from the estate agent to let you know. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
The surveyor went to the house we are hoping to buy on Friday morning,The valuation correspondence was waiting for me at home when I returned from work yesterday (Saturday) afternoon0

It took about a week for us to receive our Homebuyer's Report. That was 2 weeks ago.0

well, I had the survey done today.
I asked the guy who came 'has the house passed'.
He said 'you've not much to worry about'
I would have preferred him to say 'you've nothing to worry about'!0 -
'you've nothing to worry about'! wouldn't have justified his fee, whereas 'you've not much to worry about' will!!0
