Hmm, nearly £14 once you add on postage and VAT. I am near Lidl later today.Ellie

I'd recommend something like THIS
Since he's taking it to school and probably doesn't want to carry another bag. I just put my laptop in it and throw it in a normal bag. It hides the fact that there's a laptop in there and it keeps the laptop safe. If he's going to put it in a locker, just take it out and put it in there.0 -
Well I bought one of the Lidl bags - not sure if I will hang on to it though as the plastic device that alters the length of the strap seems a weak point. Only 3 bags left and on the other two the plastic device was no longer holding the strap in place - and that was before the weight of the laptop was added!Ellie

You lot are a mine of info - I'm spoilt for choice now:D
how secure is the locker and does your insurance policy cover theft from said locker?
I would personally resist my kid taking a laptop to school and I would certainly not advocate leaving it in a locker overnight.
Especially if he's the only one with a lappy at school too
In the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?0 -

Insurance policy covers all eventualities - I checked before ordering laptop. Most likely outcome is that he will LOSE laptop since he has ADHD. No, he isnt the only one with a laptop at school.Ellie
