  • i was always under the impression "break your journey" meant get off at a station on route then getting back on at a the same station at a later time to continue your journey.

Am I missing something, I can't get any prices, in fact I can't get any further than the first screen where you enter your journey details?

just bumping this up cos it runs out tonight at midnight

many thanks OP - just booked a day-out for 4 for £3.50 London to Brighton - bargain!
  • There seem to be very few tickets available on some routes. If you are having trouble it could be one of these problems:

    * To qualify for discount, it must be on Southern Trains services only. For example if you want to go to Southampton you have to specify "via chichester" to get a southern service because by default it only shows you the faster south west trains services.
    * The discount is only available on particular advance purchase tickets which seem to have a limited availability. The further in advance you book, the more likely you are to find a bargain!

Disappointed I couldn't use it to get to Southampton this weekend on the cheap  good luck to everyone else!

Blimey, that is really difficult to use if you're not on the Southern Trains network/services routes by the look of it. I tried MK to Euston with no luck of course.
It would be helpful if they listed all the destinations included in the offer.
