Looking For Insurance for trip in europe for 6 months plus

I am going to live for the summer with a Spanish friend in Marbella and find work for the summer season. i have done this for many years but have never found the right insurance deal.
one year i had my bag stolen which contained my glasses which turned out to not be on my policy as a nesessity so i paid 150 quid for a new pair and this summer i had some things stolen. Money from my house and a mobile phone which i was unable to clame for as the police did not provide all the information until the policy had ended and i clamed for a digital camera but as the company was australian i lost out on exchange rates and things so im looking for a good worth while deal for a person who without bad luck would not have any!!!
