Think I am posting this in the wrong place.
I am not looking for people to tell me where to buy this.
This thread is advice seeking.
Laptop speakers that give the loudest in volume.
What should I be looking for?
Are average £5.00 twin speakers good enough?
Laptop speakers are not very loud in noisy environments and I want to be able to get the kind of sound quality befitting watching a DVD from the other end of a small to medium sized room.
I look forward to hearing responses.

If I fail to thank you individually, I am sorry. Your advice was appreciated but may not have been 100% the result I was after.

If you want some fairly cheap speakers, I would recommend the Creative SBS260 models which are very good:

These cost around a tenner and go loud enough to be used in larger rooms.
Thanks

Hmmm,
wattage terms was what I meant.
What I needed to look out for when going into the likes of my local £££ store or PC World.
I have seen 0.5 watt speakers on sale.
Looks like I need to find stuff that contains both bass and treble volumes on them.
Thanks for loking gavinp.
