Advice needed

Hi i could really do with some sound advice!

About a year ago i decided to use a reclaim company to get back our bank charges-(very, very silly i know). My husband managed to get back a settlement figure from his bank and the company - Licit Legal got there 25% for doing practically nothing. Anyway my claim was frozen by the bank and Licit Legal told me that they had not been quick enough, even though my claim had been going on for nearly a year.

Anyway yesterday i got a letter from a company called My Claims Expert.co.uk saying that they had taken over from Licit Legal. They have all my bank details and have asked me to complete a detailed financial report of all our income and expenditure for my bank records.

I gave them al call yesterday and they told me that the claim would only take 8 weeks. They said that i would probably just get a settlement figure from the bank and that they would except this figure on my behalf without consualting me first.

In one of the letters from them it also states that they want 25% + vat of the charge and interest which have been recovered plus any court, legal costs which are also recovered.

I am very weary of signing theses forms as i have had such a bad experience with Licit Legal, but on the other hand am consdering doing it as some money is better than no money. It also concerns me that this company have all my bank details and are asking for a detailed financial report for my bank. Why would they need this?

Would i be better off restarting the claim myself and if so would i be likely to get any money? should i use this company and if so does anyone know anything about this company?

Your help is much appericated.

Kind Regards

Maddy

Licit Legal went under ages ago (insolvency last may i think)and I assume sold their claims over to MyClaimsExpert. I'd certainly consider doing it yourself rather than using this company, you havent signed anything with myclaimsexpert yet have you ?
