Welcome Finance query

I've not been on for a while, but able to now and would love some help with a query I have on my Welcome Finance loan.
This loan is nearly paid off ( I think my final balance is somewhere around £15). However, reading this site, I am aware of the indirect charges that have been added to my account now - and am wondering what I should do.
I haven't asked for a SAR yet - I will do, to find out exactly wha I've been paying. The reason I am doing this is because I received a letter underneath my flat door - we have an outside door, so they would have had to gain entry through this first - a few weeks ago, saying they had visited and that I missed my payment etc etc and that £25 has been added for their costs of delivering the letter! They have also called me a few times too, none of which I answer, but I now know they charge for this too. I fully intend to send my SAR and claim all these charges back.
My question is this: As I have such a small account balance left to pay, do I pay this off to stop any further 'charges' and interest mounting and then claim OR (because the balance is due to the charges they've added to my account) send the SAR and then claim letter and leave the account in limbo.
Does it matter if the account is closed when I reclaim? I would just like to close it and end my relationship with Welcome finally, but am concerned that I wouldn't be able to if the account is closed. Also, from reading on here, the length of time that Welcome take, this could be a while before I get anywhere - and all the while, interest and charges mount.
Please can someone advise me on what's best to do. I'm ready to pay off the final balance now, but these points above in relation to the charges are important to me. I feel cheated that they can add these to the account, and am grateful that forums like this make you aware of such things.
Any help is appreciated, thanks

I have posted it there too, nobody seems to know.
