happy birthday sod :bdaycake: have a lovely day xxx
morning all :hello: hope lots of wins today for the inn :cool:Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
Forgot to say i said this on FB too but do people always take stuff like dressing gowns and slippers from these posh places as souvenirs?;)
No, I don't even use them; I'm squeamish about those sort of things that others have used; I always take my own towels. I do take toiletries with me, and coffee/tea sachets. The Malmaison hotel even leaves you a note telling you TO take the toiletries; they can't exactly reuse them.0 -
Thanks so much everyone for all the gorgeous birthday greetings here and on fb too. It has gotten my day off to a very warm and fuzzy start.
DD is busy today with her police cadets so I am home alone and hoping for some wins to make me smile. Hoping to take her out somewhere later for dinner or at least a takeaway for a treat.
I am so thrilled to be remembered and am sending lucky dust to you all :ABut there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0 -

Why cant Top Gear use the track in Hinkley for filming on and not one a million miles from me
Still trying to find a campsite for next week, reckon its gonna cost £60+ for the track day, with petrol costs and campsite fees
But i REALLY want to go0 -
Morning all. Another working day is here - great. But tomorrow is our staff 'away day' so I'm going on a cookery course so does that mean it's my Friday today?!
Wow Darren that looks brilliant! I won a stay at The Berkeley in London at the beginning of last year (or was it the year before? Oh how time flies) and loved it. I didn't take the dressing gown but did 'borrow' the slippers and that seemed fine.
Glad to hear there have been some improvements diddlepops but it's silly how the bloke can't be charged without a statement - I hope it all gets sorted (in the right way LOL!).
Hope everyone has a good day and that those who weren't feeling good yesterday have a better dat today. xx Oh, and lots of wins for all!Life is all about the journey.0 -
Can anyone give me the name of the pagent show that was on last week so i can watch it on iplayer
thank you0 -
Just a quick heads up for anyone that likes a bet! Ken, the 1/15 favourite to be evicted from BB10 walked out this morning. Some bookies still have the second favourite, Marcus, at 10/1. Can't imagine they'll scrap the planned eviction tomorrow, so worth a punt!
