Morning all. :hello:
Hope everyone feeling under the weather starts to feel bright and sunny soon and everyone has their comping fairy working in overdrive.
Lovely pics PMS, great bargains and the LO looks chuffed to bits with her top.Looks like the straps on the dress need taking up a bit though, she seems to be showing a bit too much 'cleavage'! ... hope this doesn't offend
it's just you know there are monsters out there who would take great pleasure in seeing more than they should.

The straps are ajustable I think it's just she wanted the pic taken before I had chance to do it LOL I'll sort that out later once LO has gone to sleep. You wouldn't think she was only 9 would you, she looks far too grown up to me.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

Just been out for a hearty big bowl of Scouse and big buttered roll with pickled beetroot. Mmmmmm.
The postie hasn't been so I guess he's not going to today. And I noticed that most of the bins have vanished from our road. Ours is so minging I refuse to touch it to move it for collection and am sick of having done so all year...but it's full, so I have been naughtily using other peoples'....we get weekly collections and some houses are now empty now the animals/students have mostly moved on....so I don't feel bad. Anyhoo....a break now then more packing...decided that the rain sucks and I'm staying in....going out tomorrow afternoon though so hoping that I'm pretty much finished packing tomorrow and that it's not raining as I like to walk into town to save money.0 -

Hop we all have some lovely wins today
I have a dilemma and i was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some help ... you guys always seem to have the answers. We moved into our flat last September and ever since then we have been plagued by major troubles, between moving in and middle November we have no boiler (plus its 17 years old) the house is singled glazed and out side it was snowing, In December the fridge freezer broke ruining all the food, also in December the roof started leaking leading to damp, our back door is an internal door and has warped and no longer fits, all the windows in my room and painted shut, our front door doesn't really close properly, we have never had a working washing machine, we have a problem with flies, the shower doesn't really work and the bit that goes on the wall is broken, and the biggest problem is the rats that we realised were there in January but have been there all along, they have made nests in the cupboard under the stairs and under the kitchen sink and units we hear them all the time. In January we stopped paying full rent (we paid about 65%), with out alerting the Landlord (naughty I know) and it has only been this week that she has realised. Obviously she is now demanding her money but it seems really unfair that we should have to pay a full London rent for a house that is un-hygenic, we can't really use the kitchen for fear of getting ill, our house is unsecured due to the door issues, and just the endless things that have gone wrong and never been fixed. There are more than I have listed. The only one that ever got fixed was the boiler and that took 2 and half months in the middle of winter.
Does anyone have any ideas about what to do? Do you think it's reasonable to negotiate the amount we owe her? Is there any part of law that's on our side?
Sorry to put this on here just thought some one might know something helpful
Hiya
Do you rent through an EA or direct with LL?
Did you write to inform LL/EA of the problems and if so do you have a log of when you did so?
I believe that LL/EA had duty to repair these items within a reasonable time frame, as this has been going on a long time I would look at going to the CAB for legal advice. I think with regards to the rent the LL can demand her money, as I think it states in the tenancy agreement about witholding money without prior notice.
As a LL im sure she is in breach of the tenancy due to the poor upkeep.
I contacted enviromental health about problems in a previous property, they came out did an assessment and told my LL he has X amount of time to fix or they would but they would bill him etc.
Sorry xxxxxxThink it's about time the comping fairy remembered where I am! lol0 -
PMS, gorgeous girlies. I'm already flitting between broody (seeing peoples' kids here) and wanting to get sterilised (seeing the creatures I have been sharing the house with)....LoL.
Well done to anyone who has had wins I've missed.0
