Finding a holiday whilst on a debt reduction plan

I'm four months into my debt reduction plan and to date things are going to plan... Yippeee!!
Summer is approaching and everyone except me seems to be booking holidays. I feel my family are entitled to a break.
We've always had holidays spent with relatives (free board and lodgings), however for various reasons I now longer wish to do this.

I want to take my wife and daughter somewhere BUT I DO wish to spend a fortune.
I have a budget of £750 excluding food.
Unfortunately it has to be in school summer holidays.
Where can I go and what can I do for that?
Sorry Butlins alike, camping and kiss me quick style holidays are a no no.

All suggestions greatly appreciated.
stay lucky!
Steve.

We have always stayed with relatives in the south west, close to beaches. But hey, the great British weather normally lets us down.
So abroad would be nice but not too built up or commercial. i.e the Costas, etc.
We would like a bit of culture and not too many Brits.

    Any suggestions??

Sorry to bring common sense into this thread but I thought you were doing a debt reduction plan?

You obviously had holidays away before (albeit with family) so not deprived of them.

Why not face facts and just for this year SAVE £750 and stay at home?

I'm sure it won't kill you and you'll be doing even better on the debt reduction.....
