Day trip to Africa

Has anyone done a day trip to Africa while on holiday in the Costa Del Sol? if so where was it to in Africa and how safe was it, we would have an 11 year old with us.

Africa!!??!!
It's a big continent, bigger than Europe... I'm assuming you are thinking of a trip to North Africa. Why would it be more unsafe than parts of Eastern Europe?
Anyhow, check what trips are touted by the hotel or round the resort.

Have not done the trip myself, but think you have to get to Algeciras, Gibraltar or Tarifa first.
