Paying e-bay fees?

Hi could someone help with this query please.
I need to pay my first lot of e-bay fees soon and on my account it says that I have got automatic payment set up from my credit card. I definitely don't want to do this and would prefer to use a debit card, however there is no option for this - the equivalent seems to be pay from my bank account.
I don't use Paypal or anything like that and I guess I am wary of giving e-bay my bank account details. Am I worrying over nothing and if I give them my bank account details is it a good method to pay my fees by? It says they will then set up a DDR to take payment. Is this what most people do?
I'd appreciate some advice on this, thanks.

You can always pay by cheque
You have to click onto the one time payment method and print of the invoice page. 0 -
