EHIC Plus?

Any medical treatment would be in the equivalent of an NHS hospital, but apart from that you're good to go.
If I was at deaths door, a NHS hospital equivalent, would sound pretty
good to me, stuck in the middle of Europe !
Before I start a new thread on a similar theme, does anyone know, if
this insurance, (EHICplus), would cover an elderly couple, on a European
CRUISE ? Thanks in anticipation.0 -
They should drop the I from the EHIC, because it isn't Insurance.
It doesn't include repatriation.
So worth getting because it is free, as well as a good value insurance policy.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
EHICPlus does provide a Cruise Cover option which offers cover for elderly ( no age limit ) and is excellent value. Is well worth getting a quote.0

i got this for my mother last year.
as long as you know that the card is free but if you want insurance you have to have the free card then purchase the insurance as a top up.
the card alone is good for nhs treatment abroad.
for insurance you will need both.
it is proper cover!0
