Yes --- Unless you put in the engineers code
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    Thanks for the reply,
But, what is the engineers code and where would I obtain it?
Any more information for others welcome and appreciated.
    Thank you

There are usually two codes in an alarm system, the users code and an engineers code.

The engineers code is used when work is done on the system.

The code would have been set by whoever installed the system.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
