The sale in store is very good. These are only £4 in store! I got 3. Also these were only £3.50 and come with a nice green ribbon.

So you may be better of trying to get in store to stock up on pressies.

I ordered mine on Wednesday and had an e-mail yesterday to confirm it had been sent but I didn't get it today. Bit disappointed as loads of people seem to be getting theirs really quickly!! :o

I have always bought teachers presents at the end of school year & at christmas, especially any that are leaving. Even when my eldest was little I have done it, I know when I was at school we did the same too so don't think it's a recent thing.

It's not a con, I buy nice presents without spending much. I certainly wouldn't spend more than £10 in total for everything (that's 4 people this year, about £2.50 each on average) so don't think it's that much really.

My point is, the never used to sell specific cards/gifts, it was a thing that some people would occasionally do if the teacher deserved it/was leaving etc...now they have made it semi-compulsory.

Clinton's know how to manipulate the sheep among you, mark my words on this one...in the next couple of years they will start trying to sell you "Christmas in July" cards:

The shopping channels are laying the ground work on that one, Bid Up TV have their Christmas shopping specials on 25th July.

I used to get my teachers presents when I was at school, certainly remember almost everyone buying for one middle school teacher who was lovely, I was 11 then so 22 years ago, nothing to do with clintons and everything to do with recognising hard work, just as I gave my midwife flowers and a thankyou card and gave a friend who spent hours mending my washing machine a bottle of whisky!

Hi Jakesmummy - my order came and I should have had a pomegranate body butter 200ml but it was missing and I had to phone them up. Paperwork said it was dispatched but nothing in the box..
