Claim on hold and hardship and new name

My claim is on hold but I would like to claim for hardship as I frequently go overdrawn past my agreed limit etc. I have since got married (since making the claim) and therefore have changed my name. Will this have a detrimental affect on my claim and will I incur further charges to change my name or re-submit my claim? Not sure what I need to do. Thanks for your help. J x

Is the account open or closed?
Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?

You can ask Barclays to look at the claim as hardship(and they have been paying out on hardship). I suspect they won't as the charges haven't contributed to the hardship today.
