Transferring to a 0% card in middle of 0% period

I've got 2 cards both with balances on at 0%.

One of the cards is coming up to the end of its 0% period; can I transfer that balance over to the other card and continue to take advantage of that card's 0% - (yes, there is enough within the other card's limit).

Or does the 0% only apply to the amount transferred at the start of the balance transfer period?

Usually 0% on BT applies only when transferred on in the first few months. Unless you have been offered anything new in the interim. Your card's t&c will call that out.

I didn't think that would be the case but thought I'd ask anyway.

It might also not be worth paying the balance transfer fee, to only be able to transfer for the few months remaining. You need to do the maths.

Is it worth applying for another card? How long would it take to clear the debt on the card with interest?
