Hi,
I wrote to MBNA and have had several telephone conversations to obtain my statements from them. They want to charge me £4 per statement, this will add up to about £90 - can they do this as I thought the could only charge up to £10 maximum for all statements?
Thanks,
Sarah

Only if you quote the legislation, e.g Section 78. Then it becomes a DSAR type request and you will get more than you requested. If you just want statements for your account they can charge what is in their T&C's as they have already provided this information.0

Ask them for a list of transactions and charges.
There is no charge for this.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
