Wierd Egg CC Charges help needed with reclaiming

All,

Wanted to reclaim the charges applied to my CC so back in April requested a copy of my data with a cheque for a tenner attached. I chased them in May as had not heard anything and they said they were working through them. When I called back they said they couldn't cash the cheque (load of tosh for once plenty of cash in account) then nothing. We went on hols and tbh had forgot about it then low and behold last week I get a huge package through the post along with my cheque back???

Anyway to cut a long story short I have gone through my statements and a few things jump out at me

Wierd charge 1 - Credit Card Repayment Protection - this seemed to be linked with the balance but wasn't something I asked for

Wierd charge 2 - Minimum Finance Charge - if I wasn't using my card they were charging me 50P a month for the previlage

Has anyone else come across these and can I reclaim them.

Thanks

Becky

Weird charge 1 is a YES if you pop over to the PPI forum they will help you out.
Weird charge 2- I have to say, I have no idea what it is so I would ask them where it is in the Terms and conditions....might be worth getting rid of the card if they do this.

I think YES albeit it may not be necessarily what is usually claimed.
