Philips DECT 1112 Twin Cordless Phone - £19.99

Two points to note about cordless phones:
1) Do they have a keypad lock facility? I've accidentally called the emergency services on one before that hasn't.
2) What's the audio quality like to the other party? My Lidl ones sound rather distorted, even though the other party sounds fine to me.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
And as for these not being GAP-compatible - i.e. they won't work with anything other than other Philips handsets - well there's no excuse for that. Perhaps Philips are "doing a Sony" and trying to lock out competition.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I'm a right in thinking this doesn't have an answering machine?

Goofgat: I had a Southern Bell phone aeons ago. They are always at the cheaper end. But I have to say I don't remember any trouble with it. These look a good deal. Need a new phone desperately as screen disappeared off mine and they are only 2 years old! But, skint, skint, skint.....Stop looking for answers....
The most you can hope for are clues.....:)0 -
Yes, no answering machine according to specs listed at http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/phones/cordless-phones/474618/details, but apparently they're GAP compatible. GSazbo wrote:I'm a right in thinking this doesn't have an answering machine?
