French Easter holidays

I'm taking the family to France on Easter Sunday for a week self catering but not sure what Easter holiday is observed there.
I don't expect anything to be open on Sunday and have found that Monday is a national holiday but will any shops be opening then or is it a holiday which is strictly observed?
I found in the past that boulangeries are usually open for a short time on holidays, is it the same at Easter?

Hope someone can help me out.

for your info, the school hols for children in France is from Monday and for 2 weeks. Some shops will be open on Sunday, like the boulangeries and local shops.all those lovely eggs and chocolates bunnies have to go!!!!. not sure about supermarkets but depending where you're going, at least in the morning you will find food. On Monday, i would expect most shops to be closed.
